Description:

This turtle was near the docks at Holly Bluff Marina. It seemed to be trying to bite a spatterdock seedpod, but the pod kept bobbing away.
I couldn't see it's shell clearly because it was covered by algae.

Habitat:

Edge of river where spatterdock and other water plants were growing.
