Description:

2 feet long that is dark brown and black markings. It has a diamond like shaped head. The diamond head does NOT mean that it is venomous.

Habitat:

I took these pictures at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Thank you so much for helping trying to figure out what species this snake might be.
This's is a difficult one. Did it have a slit in the pupil? The diamond head dose not look like the suggested water snakes.
