Description:
Male has black wings and green body. It's appx 2" long. Female is a bit smaller, has lighter wings and body. They also have a white spot on the tip of their wings.
Habitat:
Close to slow moving streams and creeks. Eastern 2/3 of United States and eastern half of Canada.
Notes:
I believe this is a mating pair of Ebony Jewelwings. I found them by the stream at the campground.
