Description:

Los anisópteros son paleópteros, es decir, insectos que no pueden plegar las alas sobre el abdomen. Se caracterizan por sus grandes ojos multifacetados, dos pares de fuertes alas transparentes y abdomen alargado.

Habitat:

Su hábitat natural se encuentra en las cercanías de lagos, charcos, ríos y tierras pantanosas, ya que sus ninfas son acuáticas.
