Description:

Skippers are butterflies that could be mistaken for moths. These are the most common of the Skippers. Yellow/ orange color with yellow legs. Short antenne, large dark eyes and spots on the under wings. This one is a male which is lighter and brighter color while the female will be darker and smudged.

Habitat:

spotted at a ponds edge.

Butterflies have a bulbous club at the tip of each antennae, moths don't. Easiest way to differentiate.
