Description:

This spider is a good example of mimicry as it resembles the lichen on the bark of this tree, which is common for the 230 species of this spider. I watched this spider quickly run and hide, otherwise I never would have known his was here. There are more than 230 species in all parts of the world. This spider in picture one is nestled under the bottom of the cups.
