Description:

Thick brown kestrel; dark streaks on head & breast; back is heavily barred, also wings and flanks; grey tail broadly barred; creamy-white eyes and a yellow cere and legs.
Photo was taken in Ndutu region in Tanzania

Habitat:

Semi-arid country with scattered trees; dry bushed grassland
