Description:

tiny brown collembolan

Habitat:

I was stunned to see many of these swarming about the surface of the hotests rocks of a sidewalk, they were scooting about on the edge of a shady crevace full of moss and weeds. They would dart out into the sun spots and then back into the crevaces.
