Field Notes

Description:

A longhorn beetle about 35mm overall with excellent 'muscles' on all femurs plus the antennae. A rich pattern of pink-orange-brown and white on the back.

Habitat:

Attracted to strong night lights at a local used car yard.

Notes:

Note common name is 'longhorn' as overseas where in Australia it is often 'longicorn'. This is a eucalyptus borer as a larva. <br>
