Field Notes

Description:

Found in wet and moist areas. Orange or yellow bill with out casque as seen in Indian Grey Hornbill. Slaty grey with whitish streaks to crown and sides of head. Shorter and darker grey tail than Indian grey and has characteristic rufous under tail coverts.

Habitat:

Among ficus trees like peepul, banyan and fig by roadsides
