Description:
Red eyes with veins so when they are sleeping they can still see predators. Orange toes, blue sides with white patterns that vary individually. Neon to dark green body. White underside. on rainy humid nights the males call to attract the females with a chirp that is almost like a bird but more deep.
Habitat:
Neotropics, Cloud forests, Rainforest's, and in trees.
Notes:
Found 4 of these on the same humid night at Selva Verde Lodge. I have 2 of these as pets so I recognized the call so I went out looking for them when I heard the ver so familiar "Chirps". This one posed for me when I took this picture in the middle of the night on a Droid Razr HD camera. (Didnt have my camera at the time).
