Field Notes

Description:

A brilliant white head and tail made it easy to identify. When soaring it would rise with air currents rather than flapping its wings.

Habitat:

Rural, Wooded, open grassland, private pond nearby

Notes:

Hard to tell from the picture but the white tail can be made out. It fly across the road in front of me and I turned around to see it again.
