Thanks Ashley for confirmation. That's why I should leave my bird ID'ing to the experts unless I'm 100% sure.
The bill is wrong for a Yellow Warbler, although the body looks very similar. I can't say for sure the species, but the bill definitely looks more finch like. It's beautiful whatever it is!
You're right kel is looks just like the yellow warbler. I wasn't sure about my ID before, so after seeing this I have moved it to unknown.
