Description:

This little Assassin nymph of about 8 mm in length has a metallic florescent blue lumpy abdomen. It was extraordinarily active and acrobatic. I suspect it might be the nymph of the previously spotted Wooly Assassin Bug.

Habitat:

Heavy shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters.
