Field Notes

Description:

a very faded hawk moth

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

This was only my second time seeing a oleander hawk moth. I coaxed this one into my room for some photos but then he snuck out before I could take any. Thankfully 2 days later, he reappeared at the foot of my door, in rough shape but very calm and I was able to get these pics. Bogani Nani Wartabone national park.
