Field Notes

Description:

Mushroom about two inches in diameter.

Habitat:

Found in the corner between to fallen decaying logs, one moss covered, in dense deciduous and coniferous forest.

Notes:

Spotted at Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge in Wilderness Area.

Thanks Mark. Conditions seems to be perfect for fungi here right now and I have more on the way.
Possibly something like Agaricus silvicola? ... sure looks a risky one whatever it is.
