Field Notes

Description:

A common duck found in Australia and New Zealand.

Habitat:

Woodland areas with water. Found in much of Indonesia, New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, and many islands in the southwestern Pacific.

Notes:

This duck was accompanied by another duck. I fed them both bread. The duck in the picture ate from my hand but walked away shortly after while the other kept its distance at all times. (・´з`・)
