Description:

Family: Acrididae. Subfamily: Melanoplinae. Mating. Considered a pest. Male is yellow and much smaller than female with length of 28-37 mm. Female is bronze/brown color with length of 34-50 mm. Food is crops, variety of plants, grains and grasses and leaves of fruit trees.

Habitat:

Meadow with abundant plants.
