Description:

The male boat-tailed grackle is about 16" (40 cm) . He is an iridescent blue-black bird with a very long keel-shaped tail. Bright yellow eyes which shows white in this picture.

Habitat:

There are lots of boat-tailed grackles and also common grackles (both male and female) at Assateague State Park in Berlin, Maryland
