Description:
Large mouth, bony head, long body, long dorsal fin, rounded tail fin, spot near base of tail.
Habitat:
Little Kankakee River, LaPorte County, IN
Notes:
Often mistaken for a snakehead. In fact, I had never seen a bowfin and thought I caught a snakehead at first. Fun to catch though!
