Description:

From "Florida Wildflowers in Their Natural Communities":

Herbaceous evergreen perennial to 3ft tall or more. Stems branched, pubescent [fuzzy]. Stem leaves sessile, in whorls of 3-5, hairy, whitish, or tan below. Flowers clustered in the upper branches. Pinkish or white."

Habitat:

This was along the Sinkhole Trail in Silver River State Park, in Ocala.
