Description:

Dark grasshopper with banded legs.

Habitat:

Residential area surrounded by temperate forest.

Notes:

Seems like one of the Melanoplinae, spur-throated grasshoppers... If it belongs to that family, my guess is Melanoplus sp. Another possible (but less likely) idea is Oedipodinae, band-winged grasshopper.
