Description:

I bought it from a plant fair but dont know its common name..... It is most likely a shrub or unndershrub and it flowers only at the apex of the branch . It has been flowering throughout the later part of the rainy season

Habitat:

In its natural state, it commonly grows in rocky or sandy coastal areas with full sun, or moister, disturbed sites inland

Notes:

Duranta erecta is native to the Americas, from Mexico and the Caribbean south to Brazil.

yes i guess duranta erecta as seen from pics on internet @namitha and valentinezza thanks a lot
Yeah,it could be due to the soil. Usually butterflies love to hang around these flowers. I am not sure why its different there, but the flowers and leaves are typical of Duranta.sp.
nop, no fruits yet . may be due to lack of fertilization . butterflies dont seem to be very attracted to it
Lovely spotting! Welcome to Project Noah Mohammad Yasin. They look like Golden Dewdrops, as valentinezza has suggested. Do they bear yellow coloured small round fruits?
