Field Notes

Description:

These "Toco Toucans" comes to my yard every day. Here, there are some fruit trees (such as jabuticabas ["Myrciaria sp."], Avocadoes ["Persea sp."] and Macaúbas ["Aculeata aculeata"]), and some other birds nests.

Habitat:

I saw this specimens on my backyard, in a region of transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.

Notes:

This "Toco Toucan" are always in a group of 4 or 5 birds. Sometimes, just 2.
