Description:

White Leaf Beetle with black markings on the elytra overlapping pale brown markings. Red thorax and hind femora enlarged for jumping, 6 mm long. Family Chrysomelidae.

Habitat:

Heavy shrubbery along the highway between San Cristobal de Las Casas and Tuxtla Gutierrez, km 11.5, 865 meters.
