Description:
Leaf insects are also called Walking Leaf thanks to their amazing camouflage. I saw this little nymph crawling around in the dining area of the place I was staying in. It was so light and delicate, the heavy gusts of wind and rain blew away the insect a couple of times. Nymphs are brown in color and as they grow, they feed on leaves and turn into green.
I am yet to see an adult leaf insect, I hope to see one soon!

'Leaf insects use camouflage to take on the appearance of a leaf. They do this so accurately that predators often aren't able to distinguish them from real leaves. In some species the edge of the leaf insect's body even has the appearance of bite marks.
