Description:

Rhizomatous, perennial It grows 2 to 5 feet tall with slender grooved stems that branch only at the top. With pointy edges & Green overall.

Habitat:

Thistle grows in barrens, glades, meadows, prairies, fields, pastures, and waste places. It does best in disturbed upland areas but also invades wet areas.
