Description:
Orange moth with white spots outlined in black. This one has a metallic blue necklace (5th picture). This moth has a very large distribution and shows quite a bit a variability in spot patterns throughout its range. The hind wings vary from light to dark smoky grey. 1 cm long. Family Yponomeutidae.

Habitat:
Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
Notes:
Pictures 2 through 6 were taken on 27 July 2014 in the same place.
