This is what he wrote to me. It is a red George Lily crossed with the red Ifafa lily (C. elatus x C. mackenii). There is an outside chance that it is C. eucallus, or C. obrienii, but for this to be determined, Hope you understand this. I am in the Dark, but learning still. Cheers.
Thank you Valentinezza for your Comment and question. Not long after having posted the picture, I was told by one of my friends From the Cape, in South Africa, that he had in fact found out the name, but would confirm from the old lady from whom he acquired the Plant. It was a plant being cultivated by this woman, and she kindly gave him a plant from her Stock, So No it was not a wild plant. Once again Thank you.
