Field Notes

Habitat:

Arboreal, usually near water. Wooded areas, Mangroves, suburban parks.

Notes:

We had large numbers of these non-native feral iguanas a few years back throughout south Florida. After a particularly cold winter a couple of years ago, the population seemed to have been greatly affected. However, this year I am beginning to see large numbers again.
