I'm desperate to get some info on these. I've seen a nearly identical pair in Indiana, but can't find any real identity info.
Yes, I agree and from what I can tell in the photo, they seem to be a larger duck. I've raised ducks for years (domestic breeds) and the Rouen is one of the breeds I've had the most. Rouens look like Mallards, but are significantly larger and cannot fly.
Hi eelhsamarie. I'll bet they are. I saw them on my walk. They seemed pretty tame.
Are these domestic ducks? They look like Rouens, however, the male doesn't look pure Rouen, perhaps a cross with another breed.
