Field Notes

Description:

Leaves are pear-shaped, broad oval, almost round, lower half. The narrow leaf tip is so long it begins to curl. The leaves are smooth and glossy with no teeth on the edges. Approx. 5 in. long and 2.5 in. across the center.
Leafstalks are short. Leaves branch in Opposite pairs.
The veins curve toward the tip.
