Description:

A large, metallic blue, solitary wasp that utilizes old dauber mud nests. This wasp also paralyzes spiders to use as nourishment for a single, developing larvae.

I'll take a look Juan and try to get some more up by tomorrow. Not sure I have anything better though... this wasp was moving quite frantically and, not knowing what it was at the time, I kept some distance between myself and it considering it was quite large
Hi Crhis, I think this could be a Pompilid wasp. Do you have more pictures?, it could be usefull to see the first abdomen segments.
