Description:

This iridescent blue wasp just flew through the tent web spider's nest to capture it. Do not know how it is able to negotiate such complex web structure to attack it's prey. Size is about 20mm.

Sphecidae http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sphecidae possibly a Chalybion - although I don't know the genera all that well.
