Field Notes

Notes:

I spotted this green geometrid moth, yesterday night. The second picture is of the same moth on a yellow background. I was amazed when its colour changed to blue [ it is because of its translucent wings, but it was beautiful to see].
I think the species is 'Pelagodes antiquadraria', but I would like to get confirmation on that.
Then I went to sleep after taking some photos, then again I saw it in the morning, then also I took some pictures and took it outside. I know,it doesn't have much time left in this world, but I thought it would be better of outside, than trapped inside. Don't know moth psychology, but thought it, a good thing to do.

That's really cool Jemma, I have never seen a white one before. In fact, I started observing moths very recently, probably after becoming a part of Project Noah. I owe that to PN and all of you.
what a lovely green! i spotted a white one in the forests of Kumarokoam. It was lying peacefully on a leaf. It was a real treat!!
