Tenebrionidae larva 3 pairs of paws, light brown body, brown head, small spikes on the end. 2.5 cm

Habitat:

Santa Eulália beach Albufeira, crawling on the sand

Notes:

could dig through sand

This is a click beetle larva, also known as wireworms.

I don't know what it is, but I know someone who breeds them. I'll try to find out. But be careful, they bite!
