Description:

about 2"

Habitat:

cloudforest, 2400m

Notes:

I spotted many clearwing/glasswing type butterflies at Otun Quimbaya Santuario during the 5 days I stayed there. They seemed to be the most common butterfly and would often land on low bush and then fly off when I walked past only to fly for a little while and then land low again. Sometimes they let me approach closely.

Thanks Mark and tbrett for the comment and ID. I'm pretty sure it's the right ID but I know these can be very tricky with very subtle differences. We will see if bayucca agrees.
