Thank you staccyh. Just these 2 so far Dan, a friend has told me he see's P. shiinaorum frequently in some of the Lychee planations on the mountain, will try and get there soon.
Wow! Lantern bugs are so cool! How many other species have you spotted, besides your recent 2? (in the genus Pyrops)
Hi Marta, Doctor & Doreen, thank you for your comments. I find these bugs both intriguing and comical, especially as they have a habit of shuffling sideways when you get to close, these three shuffled in perfect unity then took off in the same fashion.
