Field Notes

Description:

Big bird of prey - mostly black with dappled body and a white throat.

Habitat:

It caught a dove on our lawn! I had to run for the camera, luckily got these two shots!! Hope it is enough for an ID.

A bit of digital darkroom aka photo shop will remove the glare and make it easier to determine species! Try auto contrast or brightness/contrast first. If those don't make it better, my other fall back is curves
