Field Notes

Description:

Yellow legs, with black bands, red under belly, and a yellow back. Females can be 4.8–5.1 cm (1.5–2 in), males being usually 2/3 smaller. It gets it's name from the golden silk it produces for it's web.

Habitat:

I took this picture at Zoo Miami, Florida.
