Field Notes

Description:

Small ant-mimic (6mm), long jaws and black/grey in colour with silvery/white hairs that form two distinct bands on abdomen; 2nd and 3rd leg pairs mainly yellow, while the 1st and 4th are mainly black with two yellow bands.

Habitat:

Thick tropical coastal vegetation. The picture was taken on a pandanus leaf.
