Species ID Suggestions

I loved finding these babies as a child. It was always a special treat if we found the eggs.
Hello alex. Since you already what your species is (from your use of a common name), please go ahead and fill in the scientific name field. In this case it is Anolis sagrei. This allows the spotting to be considered as identified, and a complete record, letting groups and individuals use your spotting for their interests. It also takes the spotting off the "unidentified" list. If anyone there is interested in detailed information on how species are named and why this is important, see Project Noah's blog entry http://blog.projectnoah.org/post/28702494728/whats-in-a-name
