Species ID Suggestions

Huntington's Blue

Hemiargus huntingtoni hannoides

Comments (3)

Please, change the ID in Hemiargus cf. hanno. Hanno is found in Costa Rica as well. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/166736005 To really exclude Huntingtoni I would need to see the dorsal side. Hanno is more common than Huntingtoni.
Should be Hemiargus huntingtoni hannoides, but for once I am not 100% sure. Please, verify. There were some renamings of these Blues. Hemiargus hanno looks identical, should however, not be found in Costa Rica, but South America.
