Poor Joe

Order: Gentianales > Family: Rubiaceae. Also known as Rough Buttonweed, it is native thoughout the southern and eastern portions of the United States and is a weedy annual that would consider itself lucky to stand a foot tall. I generally see it on roadsides and other semi-open disturbed sites.
