Adult can be a 1 to 7 cm depending on species. Their bright colors warn predators of their bad taste but their colors can also attract mates. They have two wings and strong hind legs for jumping. Their diet is plants

Habitat:

Their habitat is in fields and meadows where their favorite plants are grass,leaves,and cereal crops. Grass hoppers are herbivorous
