If Formosa really is not found in Denmark (I would wondering me about that), then my closest guess would be Thephritis bardanae. But looking at pictures and compare with yours I found about the same variability as comparing yours with Formosa.
Yes the wing pattern is important but to me T. formosa doesn't look like a match and yes I would also guess what's in UK should be also in DK but sometimes not. One of my professors is a specialist in flies but unfortunately I'm done with my university so can't get any help from there but in DK there are 10 species of that genus which 4 look like good match but will need to work a lot on the wing pattern and body shape so I will need some time :). Here are all the species but in danish: http://www.fugleognatur.dk/soeg_art_result.asp?mode=url&searchstring=Tephritis&antal=alle&felt=
Actually I have no IDeas of flies, but I find it a nice match. Concening the range, do you refer on the wiki link? I think what's found in Gemany and UK, is also found in Denmark. Little bit stupid, but works most of the time ;-)... Please, try to get some more infos, maybe you know a fly expert who can help. Wing patterns are important I guess and the match is almost perfect, but, if you do not feel comfortable, you can take the genus name.

Oh and we don't have this species in Denmark and looks pretty different but there are a few options that could be but still I'm thinking maybe it would be better to leave it only with the genus name? What do you say boss? :)
Thanks again bayucca, I couldn't get better photos because it was standing on a branch as high as myself that's why I don't have the dorsal photo and when tried to lower the branch it just flew away.
