Description:
This small winged (adult) 'jumping plant lice' has recently emerged from its sugary lerp (cover). The lerps are commonly seen, and are a useful food source for birds and other arthropods. The winged adults are seldom noticed.
Habitat:
Roadside planted eucalyptus.
Notes:
Sometimes very prolific and even problematic for park trees and forestry.
