Field Notes

Description:

Very shiny and shaped like a ladybug, its shell reminds me very much of a sea shell with its beige background and black spots and a red line down the center of the back.

Habitat:

Westcoast temperate rainforest, Albion Under the Trees, garden.

Notes:

Although slightly different than my photos, I think this is very close to the right ID? any suggestions? Sure love Bug Guide!
