Notes:
It's Brush Turkey breeding season. Here's what the male has been up to prior to this - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/32345008 Now he's trying to mate with the female and lead her to his mound. She didn't seem at all keen and flew up onto a neighbour's roof... with him in hot pursuit. They're large birds that seem rather cumbersome in the air, but they can achieve great heights when they need to. The Noisy Miner birds went crazy when these two reached the roof top. From here they flapped up into a large gum and out of sight, but they'll be back sooner or later.
