Field Notes

Description:

A small, trailing prostrate woody plant. Not sure if it can be technically called a "vine". Main stem is a rosy reddish pink.

Habitat:

Growing in pure sand, along the side of the road next to sand pine scrub habitat, in ocala national forest, ocala florida. Off rt 11, next to the public shooting range.
